DIY Gift tag

Here’s a great way to re-purpose cardboard.
A gift tag!

For this project, you will need:

-gift tissue paper
-decorative sticker
-acrylic sealer

I cut the cardboard to the desired shape of the gift tag (It started out as a circle). Then I cut some gift tissue paper using that circle as a tracing guide.

I applied a thin layer of modpodge to the cardboard, then I carefully placed the tissue paper on top.

I adhered the sticker and then added a layer of modpodge on top. I wasn’t too happy with the circle so I used decorative scissors to cut around the sticker.

After that dried, I sprayed a layer of acrylic sealer.

I used my gift tag to go along with a succulent planter that I made for a friend.

“A friend is a gift you give yourself.”

Today I am grateful for giving.
