Ok… This isn’t a real recipe for flower soup. It’s a recipe for fake flower soup. The kid kind. The kind you don’t really eat. Two weekends ago, the weather was so nice. It was sunny and beautiful. A sunny winter. Those are the best. Josh and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and played outside for most of the day making flower soup for his dad. So while his dad was busy working on our cars, Josh and I were busy making flower soup for the hard worker. It started with some lemons and flowers from the lemon tree. So pretty.
And a few weeds from the ground… yum.
And a red hibiscus flower for color and sweetness…
Josh’s dad loved it. In fact, he had seconds. Josh made me some too. What a fun sunny Saturday activity!
