30 minute project: Valentine coupon book

Josh loves his big sister very much. There is a 13 year age difference so she’s almost like a second mother to him. She’s away at college right now. She comes home often but when she is gone, Josh misses her so much. When she is here, they do fun things together like play games, watch movies, and go to the mall.

For Valentines day, Josh made a special valentine’s coupon book for her. Okay, I made it and he wrote what each coupon was good for based on what activities that they already enjoy doing together.

For this project, you will need:

  1. Hard cardstock paper for the front and back cover
  2. Construction or scrapbook paper for the coupons
  3. Valentines day stickers
  4. Paper cutter or X-acto knife
  5. Rubber cement or padding compound.

First, I cut the hard cardstock and the scrapbook paper for the coupons so that they were all exactly the same size.

I made the cover of my coupon book using Valentines day stickers. I also used Valentines day stickers for the coupons.

I wrote “This coupon is good for:” and had Josh write the rest based on activities that they already enjoy together.

I used rubber cement to seal the sides together. You can also use padding compound.

Let dry overnight using a clip to hold it together.
