Witch Hazel for your face

I prefer to use witch hazel as an astringent for my face. I like the way it smells. It’s 100% natural and it’s so refreshing! There are so many uses for witch hazel for the face and skin.Witch hazel is great for the face. It’s gentle and effective.

It can be used for treating blemishes and acne because it is a disinfectant. It can reduce the amount of bacteria on the face and in the pores. This can heal the pimples that are on your skin and any infections as well.  Witch hazel cleans out the dirt and impurities from your skin. All this can prevent any future breakouts.

Witch hazel is great for oily skin and dry skin. It’s also great for tightening up the pores of the skin. Using witch hazel treats oily skin while tightening up the skin which in turn, tightens up the pores. It seals in the moisture of your skin which therefore treats dry skin. A great tip is using witch hazel after a shower to seal in the moisture of your skin. This helps to prevent dry skin without stripping the skin dry. What a great combo!

Witch hazel can be used to improve the look of the skin. It reduces swelling. It is used to soothe skin that has become swollen due to acne. It also reduces swelling in puffy eyes. Place two pads of witch hazel over closed eyes. This helps shrink blood vessels and therefore reduce the swelling.

Witch hazel is often used in natural deodorants due to its skin care and healing properties. It is often used in homemade deodorant recipes.
