Lavender orange homemade shampoo

Time for another homemade body recipe! This one is for homemade shampoo.

Lavender Orange homemade shampoo
1/2 cup Dr. Bronner’s Castile liquid soap in Lavender
1/2 cup coconut milk
1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil or coconut oil
10 to 12 drops of orange essential oil

For the coconut oil, melt the oil in the microwave for 15 seconds before mixing it with the other ingredients or leave the oil in the sun if you prefer not to microwave. It melts quickly.Mix or shake (this is the fun part) all of the ingredients in a jar. Transfer the shampoo into a reusable plastic bottle with a flip top or squirt top for the shower or put a ribbon around the mason jar and give it as a nice homemade gift made with love. Use one teaspoon to shampoo your hair. Celebrate your inner flower child!

  1. Hi Suzanne! How long does this shampoo last for? Does the coconut milk get moldy? I am so sick of trying to find a good natural shampoo that doesn't dry my hair out and this one sounds easy. Let me know please! Thanks 🙂
